Did you know that picking your nose and eating it is good for your immune system?!

Scott Napper, an associate professor of biochemistry at the University, has suggested that there may be health benefits to that most icky of icky habits: picking our noses and eating it.

According to Napper we, the human beings, have evolved through time under filthy conditions and that probably our desire for better hygiene and sterile surroundings isn’t doing much good to our immune system. In his opinion picking our nose and eating the stuff we find in there, could actually have a positive side for our health.
The professor explains that the pathogens which are found within the mucus in our snot could actually help our immune system in order to show it what’s the true nature of our surroundings.
